Yes, I have seen it. Someone sent it to me and it’s been reblogged by people I follow. I was going to respond to it because I’m defensive as fuck and my opinions are like vomit and holding them back leaves a yucky taste in my mouth but it’s almost 3am and too damn tired to like thoroughly explain my position. 

Instead here are some brief-ish thoughts in a neat list since you asked:

• This was just a personal annoyance but um, Sam!fans do ship destiel too. Not just Cas and Dean fans. So. yeah.
• It’s very hypocritical to take every flailng destiel post and pick it apart with context when you don’t do the same for your ship. 
• It concerns me that some people don’t think that wincest moments or quotes are ever taken out of context for shippy purposes. They are. It you don’t think so you’re even more delusional than the fans you bitch about.
• It does not upset Destiel shippers when the fact that Dean loves Sam more is brought up. It upsets us when you feel like you need to constantly tell us that like we’re fucking idiots who don’t already know.
• It only seems hopeless and unrequited to you because you don’t ship it and don’t believe that Dean could possibly want the company of another human being because you refuse to take off your own shipping goggles. 
• You don’t need to sell your soul for someone to prove you love them. Dean has never had to do anything extraordinary for Cas because Cas is a god damn angel and he can care for himself. That’s one of the pillars of Dean/Cas. It gives Dean an opportunity to be in a relationship in which he does not feel constantly responsible for the other person. 
• It is complete shipper exaggeration that Dean doesn’t want anything in life but Sam attached to his fucking hip. If they didn’t hunt they would both be settled down and married. In ‘What Is And What Should Never Be’ Dean is happy that Sam is with Jess, even though they live in another state, and he is in a relationship with a woman too. He is only upset with the situation because him and Sam aren’t close, not because they aren’t fucking married. Dean wanted to be with Lisa, as annoying as I found it. He did want another relationship and hunting made that impossible. 
• The writers have said that Dean and Sam both miss Cas and are reeling from the loss of their friend. You can say Dean and Sam could never forgive him for what he did to Sam’s wall but really that’s your opinion. They call him a friend after he did that, they didn’t want him dead. They were sad he died. Canon facts, ya’ll. Sorry. 
• ~Castiel is fan service~ wow is that getting old. Everything you don’t like is fan service. It’s just a butthurty personal opinion that Cas is only around for fan service, stop peddling it like it’s fact. The writers have said they love Cas and what he brought to the show. They said they ALWAYS intended on bringing him back later this season before we even knew he would be gone. 
• I don’t get why people think that you have to love the main characters the best to really “get” the show. I thought Buffy was so annoying and the show was named after her ass! It was the oh so worthless side characters that brought me back to that show again and again and I was a devoted fan. Come off it, seriously. 
• Destiel ruins nothing. Destiel is a non-canon ship. Destiel is in our heads. If something imaginary on the internet is ruining everything for you I’m sorry but I don’t know what to tell you. In the grand scheme of things, Dean/Cas fans are an EXTREMELY small portion of spn fans. Most people I know who watch in real life don’t even know that people ship them romantically. There are some loud people here but the like, 6,000 people subscribed to the LJ Destiel community are not going to change the course of a show watched by over a million people. It’s just a fucking ship!!!!!!!!!!!

That was way longer than I intended but yeah those were my thoughts while reading the post. I have nothing personal against who wrote it, we followed each other in the past and I respect her right to an opinion. But when people hate things I love I tend to want to defend it. Especially when I think people are getting shit twisted, don’t understand the ship they are talking about in any way, and are blatantly ignoring canon facts and things the writers have said while at the same time acting as if they care so much about the reality of the show. 

So. Yup.
